Hey Mish,

Thanks for that, I am sort of making it up as I go along.

I took off the spacers and that has helped a fair bit but now my studs are too long for the wheel nuts.  I am thinking of just cutting the tops off the nuts so the stud can poke through.

Any suggestions?  I could press in the old studs I have worst case I suppose.

If it's not one thing it's another.

Cheers,

Mish
welcome to the life, everything fights you every step of the way,

you should be able to buy open ended mag wheel nuts, but if money or time is an issue u can chop the ends off, or if they are the dome ended style the ends just break off when the stud bottoms out as they are only glued on.

yeah spacers just add to the problems, try to work out the minimum size needed to fit your saab rims and you may be able to get away with a slip on spacer.

as for the align, id most likely set the tie rods up with you chosen amounts of thread from the rack end in and set everything else up even around that, just be sure to keep it even and tell you aligner that u wish to adjust the toe but adjusting the camber, (they may look at you funny), but this option may only increase the problems you are having with track width and wheel clearance.
as said one problem after the other

Massive thanks to Mish who popped over today to help get me sorted.

The car is on it's wheels now and all I have left to do is bleed the brakes and work out how to do up the shock absorber nut as it keeps spinning when I try to do it up. Even when the car is on it's wheels.

The car is very low now and the back of the car looks like a mare waiting for a stallion!

Cheers,

Matt

Yep, I really should buy one but it's either that or tyres.

I'll try to beg / borrow one.
