I noticed the other day that one of my shocks (Right front)bounces about 2-3 bounces after being pushed down, the other three don't bounce after being pushed down.
Is this a sign of the shock on its way out? I want to upgrade the dampening system so what is a possible replacement?

As I need to replace the front shocks should I just use GAZ strut inserts or get coilovers?
I now see it as the perfect time to upgrade.

What struts have you got and how much money do you want to spend?
If you want to keep it simple just get a king spring and a Koni insert.

I've just got the standard RS suspension setup.
I'm hoping not to spend more then $500, but I will if I have to.

Well standard kings spring and Koni inserts it is.
You will be pretty happy with that.

Cool, where abouts would I get the that from? I don't want to deal with Autobahn.

Think you'll find Mk1Lotus can help with the Konis or Toperformance in Melbourne.

King Springs you can get at Bursons or Repco or on ebay.

You won't regret buying Koni's, they will last forever.

Craig.

I have heard that Koni springs are good, are those the correct spring rate for a MK2 RS as the front being heavier on a RS?
