will i get defected just having a breather filter on my pcv pipe? Techinically yes
-what's the best way to deal(legal) with my pcv when im running twin 45's? What year is your escort? later than 75 and your webbers aren't legal for starters.
-what's the best air intake i can use with twin 45's? see above
-are oil catch cans worth it? Saves oil in the bay, but then, they are usually masking other problems. Vented types may be illegal.
-what about radiator overflows? Definately.
-can i use 1 1600 radiator with a 2L? Yes but not ideal.
-can i use 1600 engine mounts with a 2L? No?
-use the gearbox out of a 1600, what do i need to fit it and make it work for a 2L? You will need a small spacer block for the clutch fork
-will i can get defected with 2" lowering blocks? No.

Also, has anyone fitted a powersteering kit to there escort? does anyone have to sell?

Why would you need to? Just get rid of the solid strut tops and replace them with units that have a bearing in them and you wont need power steering

K-Mac - 380-480, http://www.k-mac.com/pages/newprods/ford/ford_01.htm
or message SMCKA for something more robust
K-Mac - Fulcrum, Bursons, Repco;
Usually no, but some will sit the front suspension up to 1.5" higher.

Ok, so here is another question, How can i change my 2l to unleaded? how much is it going to cost me? and how hard is it to do?

It is arguable that no modification to your head will be needed to run unleaded. Unless you have a really high comp motor, are motor racing, towing, or for other high powered use. I have been using 91 octane unleaded in my standard factory Escort everyday since the early 1990's and have found for normal road use no modification is needed. There have been no negative effects or not normal wear what so ever.

However, others will argue this point and give you loads of technical reasons to spend the money.

i think valve spring pressures might have something to do with unleaded valve seats, your most likley not going to get the valves receding with std springs but what about stiff double springs ??
