Hi all,
 
I am trying to find an engine for a conversion to a 2ltr engine + 5 speed for my 79 mk2 escort van.
 
I have found a couple of wreckers that have engines but they want over $1400 for them.
 
Dose anyone have any? Or know if the are really worth $1400

definately not worth more then a few hundred

with a 5 speed it may be worth a bit, 
 
2litre pinto with 4 speed in good nick you should be able to pick up for around $500

i have a pinto from one of my old eskies that burnt down. its complete besides melted carby and inlet manifold. . its been sitting outside for a few years now. defiantly requires pull down/rebuild.condition is unknown
if you want it its yours.
