What are the crow cams like compared to the UK brands? Here's a link to the specs. Just want a mild GT spec camshaft.

I haven't had much success with anything Crow branded for Ford 4 cyl engines.

Just get yours reground, and have your lifters refaced and hardened at the same time

Will be alot cheaper than a new one, and certainly better than anything Crow.

I suggest the GT500 grind if you want a mild cam, it works pretty well.

Hi

Woz; you'll probably hate me for this. I run a crow cams 51606 grind in my green car and so far its been successful. The car does 1:06's at baskerville here in tas so its not too bad. The grind is very similar to the formula spec grind apparently.

I haven't had any problems. Its up to each individual

Why would I hate you bud?? :) Whatever works for you is fine. Your car is looking great, been keeping my eye on the progress.

I was more refering to the Pinto grinds, they're crap.

And the quality of some of the cams I have seen from there for other vehicles, inconsistant finishes on the lobes etc.

Had very bad experiences with a Crow cam in a mates push rod. Eventually it failed and we pulled it out and put a Wade of similar spec in. It's still there 10 years later :)

Bad experience has put me off, thats all,

Cheers

TO be honest Woz, we're going wade now, wasn't really happy with how they delt with us, tried to tell us to go one cam but hey wouldn't listen to what we had. They seem nice just seem to be control freaks :)

We're running a wade cam in the van and also a Wade grind in teh 1300. Will have to see how they perform :)

I just looked at WADE cams tonight. Can anyone comment on the 113 profile?
