Quick question going to run a surge tank in the back for when the sr goes in.

If im going to run a bosch 044 to the engine does this mean technicaly the lift pump should also be a 044 otheewise if you were to floor it youd run the surge tank dry?

Just thinking out aloud any adivce would be great.

No, you definitely do not need (or want) an 044 lift pump. Something like a Carter (or even a Facet) will be fine.

That shall save me some money. Anything specific I should be looking for for? Do they make a generic lift pump or do I just use say like a falcon pump, sorry new to this.

U can run a holley blue as ur lift pump or get a carter lift pump recomend both

Oh BTW the engine thats going into it is a fairly worked sr.... should make around 240 ATW does this change any of the advice?

no im running a carter pump for surge and 044 for main.producing 440 hp at flywheel. cossie motor

The carter pumps come in three different pressure ratings
5-7, 6-12 and 14-16 which one should I be getting? The're cheap so I'm happy.

The cheapest, you are not running it under pressure and it will outflow your needs anyway.

The pressure doesn't matter. What does is the volume of fuel it will shift, the 044 will do the pressurizing.
