Back in the day I got the LSD centre fron a falcon and got a TE Cortina housing cut down to fit my mk2 escort. Worked great cos I only cut one side and made the short side the new long side and cut the long axle way back. Had enough meat on it to spline it. Stud pattern was the same as Escort and the drum brakes were marginally larger. Was a little bit of mucking about but that thing absorbed alot of punishment from myself and the owner after me.

Was a few years ago but from memory it was pretty damn straight forward and it bolted right in after the housing was shortened and had the brackets put on. I think I stayed with the cortina ratio too which was 3.77 or 3.89 iirc.
