The Other Half
For those interested I went to an LPG wholesaler and bought something they refer to as a safety switch. Much like a tachometric relay except it doesn't have a starter output.

It activates for approx one second initially and then re-activates when greater than 60rpm is detected.

I went to a Bosch electrical supplier and asked for a tachometric relay. The "cheapest" they had was for $275 for an old BMW. The safety switch was $35. SOLD!

My Carter elect fuel pump landed today. I will have to run a regulator to adjust the fuel down .I have read should put a filter in as well which makes sense.
Is it normal practice to have the regulator in engine bay with a gauge or do u put the lot all in the boot?

Hotboost,
Personaly I would be putting it in the engine bay, you can set pressure as required very easy within the bay and the less number of fuel line connections in the boot the better, in my book anyhow. Just remember that you should use a safety cut out with an electric pump, similar to the ones shown. I did see one in the pic above at a U Pullit type place the other day, might cost you $5 to be safe second hand or $40 new to be safe your choice.

Ok my pump is a carter same as Whooligans pic where is the best spot to mount them in the boot or under the boot? The place Im thinking is to the right hand side as you open the boot but it will mean the pump wont be sitting square.
If anyone has abetter spot please posty with pics thanks.
