Intake and exhaust on a 2l is on the other side to a 1600.

So on the 1600 the exhaust come out the left side, and at the rear on the car sticks out on the left, with a 2l its on the driver side, and sticks out on the drivers side.

Doubt it would fit without modification.

Brandon.

Incorrect, the 2L engine pipe crosses just near the gearbox crossmember then I think you will find the rear section is the same. 1.6L or 2L.

I bought a 1600 muffler section to replace a 2lt one for RWC and found the internal diameters to be different I had to get the 16oo section flared 1/4 of an inch
