Went to Shannons Melbourne today to check out the Perana (BG306) up for auction from tomorrow. A nice example that needs some improvements to return it to a better condition or just drive it as it is, asking $75-85,000. 
 
There was also a very nice red GT/V6 auto in the back lot that's coming up for auction in early June, no details yet!

 I was speaking to the owner at the All Ford Day, he mentioned the car was worth too much money to consider driving much now. He also purchased the special 165 from me.
 
I believe the pla was to offload the Capri, and find another project, possibly an Escort Van and do the duratec thing.

Does anyone know what the bidding got to on the Perana? I didn’t think it was worth the low estimate for the work it needs.
