its the cardboard section under the dash where most cars would have a glovebox, I have 2 if you want them, ready boxed

A question re: speaker holes. Wondering where they are positioned in the fascia? At the moment I have no radio or speakers fitted in my 1970 Mk1 and I want to fit a retro radio but am at a loss to know where to position the speakers as I have no intention of butchering any of the trim, door cards or parcel shelf etc. I guess the original radios from the 60s/70s had a speaker mounted in the radio unit as they probably weren't stereos??

there is a perforated section on top of the passengers side area where the one factory speaker would mount to if you ordered a radio.  Mono only not stereo.  he shelf has the factory perforations

The pic on ebay looks LHD to me ??
