Just found some photos on www.my105.com of a Mk1 Escort with bolt on flares. These are exactly what I have been looking for so I contacted the owner of the car but he bought it with the flares already fitted by the previous owner and has no idea where they came from originally.
 
I'd really like to track down a set and I was hoping that someone on here may be familiar with these flares. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Id say they're the universal fender flares, commonly used mostly on corollas & dattos. Just adapted on an escort.

Dare I say it but they look very much like ( choke ) SLR 500o type ones for Torana hatches!!
