Loctite is not required.
 
Torque to 35 ft/lb with a small amount of mineral oil on thread and under head.
 
At $6 each replace them.
 
They don't fail because of being not being tight enough. They fail because people think rattle guns are a good idea which stretches them beyond yield point.

Yea that one was a weldy and i agree, will only use it now when doing events. Open wheeler gave no drive mid corner. Just need more balls to go much quicker next time lol
 
Thanks Mk1 Lotus, will definitely get new bolts and torque correctly then shouldnt see any issue from it in the future. Might be a good thing to do in my other escort, good insurance
