I feel the std gear oil recommended for these boxes may be a little light for constant heavy abuse.
On track days as everything gets hotter a crunch from 2nd to 3rd becomes noticeable.

Should I be trying a heavier weight oil or something with a high temp spec?

Looking for an off the shelf option.

Thanks,

Redline lightweight shockproof gear oil.
You should be able to get it through Bursons, some stock it on the shelf, some stores have to order it in.
It's expensive though, so it'll pay to shop around for a good price.
Think I paid about $100 for four litres from memory?
Cheers, Jason.

I ended up with the Redline stuff, the colour nearly matched the car ;-)

Worked a treat!

Cheers for recommendations.
