Are you 100% timing is correct. I'd be thinking timing. A standard starter should still turn it over ok, ie not as bad as you describe unless compression is that high it wont run on pump fuel.

hey rhys, yes iv set the timing a few times, and had another guy to do it as well still no joy, im in the process of getting new high torque starter motor anyway plus new battery so il see how i go then, cheers
