I noted in this thread http://www.classic-ford.org/cfp/tm.aspx?m=43800&mpage=1#44415 that you are investigating the issue of images not showing correctly. Strangely enough, I just edited one of my posts and the images show fine in the preview, but do not appear correctly in the thread.
 
I've also uploaded my avatar, but it is not showing either?

I just impersonated you and I can't see that you have uploaded an avatar. Have another try
