hey mate where did you get that intercooler or is it a custom job?

I am in the market for 1...there is f&*k all room to get the intercooler, radiator and thermo fans in on the flat front ends!!.

im using andy's(510pom) mount aswell but car is along way from driving so cant comment on bump steer but the motor went straight in! :)

Are you keeping the SR box??, heard they don't take to much abuse so was thinking of an rb25 box.

If u r looking at a box upgrade i would go with the z32 gearbox... Its alot cheaper then an rb25 box and there r heaps of kots available for the conversion... Look at the mazworx website highly recomend there kit i have 1 of there adaptor plates... The sr gearboxes r weak and u will get good at changing them...

hi Barney the intercooler is off ebay its for a rx7 cost around $200 and has the outlet's facing forward. I am keeping the sr box for now just glad some work is happening. She comes home this week so i can tidy up the engine bay and paint it while the guys on holidays. Will post some more pics shortly.
P.S. the intercooler will allow fitment of an escort radiator between outlet's.

some more pics and i also just picked up an underdrive crank pulley so i can machine the power steering pully off and gain another 30 valuable mms

thanks for the advice i'll look one up, just a question the intercooler looks awesome mounted but how do you remove the intercooler, or is there enough room to move it a little and pull it out from the front?

Yer i kno u need to keep a keen eye out... The price of them is starting to go up cus there startin to get more popular in the SR scene... U can buy boxes from mazworx but freight would be a bit... They run the same gear set as an rb25...

cheers mate just looked on ebay its the same size as the one i got someone else on ebay but my outlet's are on the ends so i might be ordering the RX7 one makes it a little easier!
