Looks good Darnold, I think white would look great too. A really bright white like what came on first BA XR's would look great. Dont know if it still the same white now or not though.

great build, you really have some talent...and time.
i aree witht the white to be a bit more inconspicuous, altho it would look great in a bold colour, i think the holden metalic green but keep a low profile, especially with the xtra large 2L u have
look forward to seein the finished product

Thanks for the comments guys, Gives me a bit of encouragement to get off my butt and do a bit more on it.[%]
The prject has had another slight change (Again)[xx(]. I have decided that it would be worth my while to do a full tub at the rear while i am at it. I have some 280/625/15's that i want to fit under it now and figure easier now than later[%]. Every thing has been going ever so slowly for a while now but i hope to get back into it soon.

Nice. I'll be doing tubs on my project, so it'll be nice to see how it turns out.

Great project Darnoldrs but I personally would have worked "with" the engineer on this one from the start. To pass an engineers in Vic it must also pass an emissions test and a RWC test. Would just be a shame to see you have to "rework it" to suit the engineers requirements. Good luck.

I should have work with an engerneer, you are right but i was to worried about him saying NO to an idea, where as if he see's what im doing I hope i can talk him around. Also i wasnt sure how i was going to do things either, i just made it up as i went along and worked around problems i ran into. Anything i have done can be undone at this stage so i can change it to suit what he wants.

I realised cant tub the rear with out changing my back seat which defeats the whole point to how i have done the rear end. Oh well.[8~2]

I have started to make up my long tube headers for the new motor. It has only taken me 2 hours to get to this point. I now have to mount up the gear box and put it all into a car to make sure everything is running in the right position. Im running 1 3/4 primarys around 32 inches long, then into a 2 3/4 colector, 3 inches long, then into a 2 1/2 free flowing twin system. That is tuned for around 4800/5000rpm for memory. All the primarys will not be tuned to exactly the same length but they will be close.

I dont have the money to pay some one else to do it so i am learing patience and how to do everything myself. It will be one of a kind as i will never do it again[%][%]
Well i have got the passenger side header all tacked together. Very snug fit. It will have to be put in with the motor and taken off to get the starter motor on.[xo][xo] I have to fit the new power steening rack to the crossmember and hook it all up with the steering wheel before i can do the drivers side one. I am very happy with how it came up.[:x)][:x)]
