Well i have to say i dont know yet about the engerneering side of things, Its still regerstered as a 2L. I have a few loop holes i can use if i need to. My engerneer here will not do a supercharged v6 in my car so i am going to make in NA and put the supercharger back on after. Stock it is only 230hp so that should be no problem.
500hp? flywheel or wheels?? Thats pritty good, should be a rocket with that much. Do you know how much the v6 cossie weighs?? Mine with supercharger(no flywheel) came in at 160kg. I will be pushing to get 400Rwhp/300RwKW. If i have 250-260kw atw and 600+Nm torque by 2000rpm i think it will keep quite happy. You will alway get more HP from turbos but you will never get the torque curve of a supercharger.[:p]
Im having a sook tonight because i have to get the crank ground on the big ends, and new bearings[:(!] So i figured while i have it apart i am getting the heads ported. Gasket matched on the inlet and getting the exausts ported as well, possibly new cam and valve springs and New roller rockers and rings. More money and its still not going[:(!][8~2][8~2]. Oh well i figure its better to do it while it is apart and it will be totally rebuilt then. should add about 50-70RWHP. That should put me up around 250atw, with bigger injectors and port the blower should put me around 270-280RWHP. This is about all i want for starters. Later a Autorotor or Whipple screw type blower ($3000) and that will give me another 100HP[:x)] Im talking in Hp as this is what the guys from the USA with these motors are talking in. Another couple of weeks and i hope to have it back together. Then to sort out the wireing loom[8~2][8~2][8~2].
