Well i havnt had a chance to get any good pics but this is a taste. I had to weld in a plate in the boot because the watts link bracket had starteed to crack the floor pan where it was welded to. i had expected this thou, just throu flexing. all seems to be good now thou.

Looks good. I may have to do this to my Mk2 as it seems to be the ducks guts in regards to escort rear suspesion mods. Whats with the left handside ramp?

Good isnt it. I bought some proper ones on friday.
I am still sorting it out the rear thou. I am going to replace all the rubbers with nolathane bushes because the diff is twisting and the tail shaft has just touched the floor pan. I may have to mod the floor also when i put in some softer springs if i go to the drags. Lots of work in it and i dont know how the engerneer is going to like it yet[:x)][%].

Only right back at the start. Still working on getting the new one set up ready for the transplant. Im glad the old flares are gone to. slowly getting there.

well here in QLD, fitting the rb20, all i need is a dyno saying it makes 150hp. dont know about other sytates though.

Well i have to say i dont know yet about the engerneering side of things, Its still regerstered as a 2L. I have a few loop holes i can use if i need to. My engerneer here will not do a supercharged v6 in my car so i am going to make in NA and put the supercharger back on after. Stock it is only 230hp so that should be no problem.
500hp? flywheel or wheels?? Thats pritty good, should be a rocket with that much. Do you know how much the v6 cossie weighs?? Mine with supercharger(no flywheel) came in at 160kg. I will be pushing to get 400Rwhp/300RwKW. If i have 250-260kw atw and 600+Nm torque by 2000rpm i think it will keep quite happy. You will alway get more HP from turbos but you will never get the torque curve of a supercharger.[:p]
Im having a sook tonight because i have to get the crank ground on the big ends, and new bearings[:(!] So i figured while i have it apart i am getting the heads ported. Gasket matched on the inlet and getting the exausts ported as well, possibly new cam and valve springs and New roller rockers and rings. More money and its still not going[:(!][8~2][8~2]. Oh well i figure its better to do it while it is apart and it will be totally rebuilt then. should add about 50-70RWHP. That should put me up around 250atw, with bigger injectors and port the blower should put me around 270-280RWHP. This is about all i want for starters. Later a Autorotor or Whipple screw type blower ($3000) and that will give me another 100HP[:x)] Im talking in Hp as this is what the guys from the USA with these motors are talking in. Another couple of weeks and i hope to have it back together. Then to sort out the wireing loom[8~2][8~2][8~2].

Ayamisu: Do you have room for a twin turbo setup? must be a narrow V. I looked at the idea of feeding the supercharger with twin turbo but i barely have room for my 1 5/8 primary headers to fit down inbetween the chassis. I could have mounted them up high maybe but i decided the if i ran a good screw type blower the extra effort to fit turbos wouldnt realy be worth it except fo the WOW factor. Im not into that so if i can keep it all out of sight, thats the way i will do it.

Yes there is a little bit of room there. I am putting an airbox, intercooler pipeing and electric water pump on the drivers side and on the pasenger side the alternator and intercooler piping, all that room is taken up on mine.
Anything over about 250Kw wont realy be usable i would think. just makes it more fun[:x)][:x)][:x)]
