The caliper mounting bolts are a different size and the hubs are obviously different also to suit the Capri stub axel. The are the same price as for the Escort. every thing else is the same.

I will hopfully get a pic of the bender tomorrow arvo.
Well the fire wall and trans tunnel are welded in and finished.
I have worked out and test fitted the stering shaft and uni's and it all fits in a treat. Just have to mount my end bearing, fit everything up and get the end of the steering shaft replined to suit the uni.
I have refitted the headers and it is looking like i will have to remake most of the header pipes again[8~2][8~2][8~2][8~2]
Oh well, everything is fitted now so this will be the last time. I hope to get the car in, to get a sump made for the motor this week, Then it will be on the forward march to get it back together and running.[:p][:p]

I have almost finished the pasenger side headers again and have one more primary pipe on the drivers side to totaly remake.
Still moving forward.[:p][:p]

just as an aside david, from the photos, it looks like the bellhousing pattern on this donk is the same as ford v8.is this right? bet it made life easy bellhousing wise.

That is right. It is a windsor bellhousing and fly wheel, different bolt size for the fly wheel but every thing else seems to be the same pattern.

They are 170rwkw from factory. Add a good exaust, and run the boost from 12psi to 17psi and I am expecting around 200rwkw and 500-600Nm of tourque.
I should be able to get to 250rwkw with a screw type supercharger, upgrading the fuel system and aftermarket ecu. Then there is also the option of adding 50 to 100shot of NOS if it ever gets a bit tame.[:u][:u]
Money becomes the issue with getting any power over and above that, oh and when the 335+rwkw is reached [:p][:p]the heads tend to start lifting off the block.[xx(][xx(]
But they are just numbers realy, I will just have to wait and see how it goes but it should be an improvement over the pinto and the Capri motor[%][%][:p]

Well my new 150lb springs are now fitted in place of the 400Lb springs i had on the rear.

I will be using these 400Lb ones on the front to make up my coil over set up as soon as i get a chance.
Also just doing final set up of the steering rack, tie rod ends and steering geomatry.
Fun fun fun.
