$535 for all the trims! Take it!

I got absolutely ripped off by "Restore a Dash" in Revesby NSW, promises of new formed door panels was total rubbish. The only item that I have been f$%ked over with small Fords so far...This company is the lowest for of scum I have ever dealt with...

I would be happy to have new door cards made with care at whatever cost....

Is there anyone who's able to re-trim ones good door cards to original, or close to it in Melbourne?

i agree with u guys, dunno about other states but forget Sydney for original trims......its all too hard too exoensive and poo pooe. Totally unprofessional, so i have taken it upon myself to make my own. Dont want to sound willyy but it really cant be that hard. What would really help me is a good close up pic of the chrome beading seen on the interior. I have access to a good a upholsterer called dad, it will take some attempts but i know his perfectionist attitude will end up in a supreme result.

Aldridge will give a 10% discount for multiple orders.

I've been quoted 215GBP and 185GBP for the a pair of front and rear (custom roll top trims) respectively - approx $AU600 + post.

Well , I'm am disappointed [:-(] ,

just got an email back from the Aldridge's and they have looked at

my images of the trims, realised they can't do MK2 4 door trims,

I had chopped the inner top frame from other doors and kept them for

just incase I had to make my own frme and board for the trim, it

looks like that's the way to go now,

Paul, I have sent you an email,

thanks every one,

Jim

Jim,

It may be worthwhile speaking to Vintage Motor Garage at Wisemans Ferry (if you don't mind speaking to the opposition ) as I remember from our factory inspection a couple of years ago that they had a well developed trim shop.

Try contacting Pro-Stitch they currently do all the popular stuff but have the equipment to do new Door Cards and Dash Reco's. They may need some original examples to copy if they haven't done them before. But they did my 72 Capri Door Cards and the Rear Seat side panels as well, Completely original
