Today I decided to clean the garage and I started moving car parts around etc and I lifyed a bag up with hoses and clamps and bam.. about 3 redbacks with arses as big as a 10cent piece ran out and then a black fat arse hairy mofo jumped out... so I emptied a can of spray on them and turned them white.. so I scouted around a bit more and found a small scorpian in a web.. that's right a scorpian.. so I drove down the shop and bought a 3 pack of spray bombs and put 2 in the double garage and just made sure EVERYTHING was dead.

Going off on a slightly different tangent, a couple of friends of mine have had their pet dogs bitten by Eastern Brown Snakes in thier backyard. Not soemthing you want to find in your car of garage aswell. Seeing as they are the second most venomous snake in the world.

heres a pic of the latest one

I'm not even bothered about the scorpions, snakes, and poisonous spiders, we have our own nasty creepy crawlies here in ireland, we call them politicians. the only thing stopping me from being there is the very confusing visa application. We are doing it ourselves to save enough dollars to buy an ol skool ford as a daily when we get there.

Good onya, Nick, that's the way to go. We have ALL the same kinds of creepy crawlies as you have in Ireland, plus a bunch more it seems...

This site may be of use to you if you haven't seen it already -

A word to the wise - if you want reasonable peace of mind, source your vehicle from the eastern states, (i.e. Qld, NSW, Vic) as they have roadworthy in those states, which is similar to MOT. We don't have r/w in South Australia, so buying an old bomb here can be more, erm, dubious...

Unless of course, you're driving up to Wolf Creek, in which case you won't have to worry... you'll just have to watch the movie
