Hello Guys

After some life issues! Ive come back to work on my lovely Escort only to find out it has some new owners REDBACKS!! so far ive come across 4 Females and lots of males. what would be a good way to kill them ive tried flyspray and they seem to get "mad' and take along time to die! I would like to finsh my escort in this lifetime lol.

was about to weld on apart of a replacment sill when a female came crawling out lol Me + spiders = running!!

i know the feeling. i had one of my Escorts sitting for a good part of a year without being touched. slid underneath it and had a good 10 black spiders in my face. never got out from under the car so quick.

i just bought some mortein or somthing like that and bombed the car with that. left it for half a day (mainly to ventilate) didn't see another spider

Was just saying to my sister yesterday, there seems to be a lot of spiders around this summer. I chased the biggest huntsman out of a corty I have in storage and he was NOT happy.

Yes strategically placed bombs should to it, or my other sure fire remedy is....chooks. I might recoil at the sight of a big plump redback, but the chooks? No way....one step forward and CHOMP....gone.

do you have an enclesed shed or garage? get a couple of bug bombs, open the doors, place one each side of the car, set off, run, close the shed behind you... dead everything [88]

my falcon had been sitting for 1.5 years and i put a bug bomb inside, left one of the windows down 1ish cm and left it overnight. haven't seen a living thing inside of it yet :P

The bombs are good but that mortein surface spray is real good to that stuff will kill European wasps

Find a pack of these at the local supermarket. It'll kill everything in the car. One will do nicely as I used to use them in a double garage and it killed everything including huntsmen.

A friend was bitten on the cheek by a red back spider.
He lost two teeth today because of it.

So I'm thinking of moving to Australia from Ireland, is there a class I can go to learn about poisonous things??? what's a redback?
