Hey guys,
I was after some help/opinions. FYI i have a pinto with a w50 celica gearbox.

A few months ago my car poo'd itself, it felt like you couldnt push the clutch in far enough to be able to change gears effectively.

So we took it all apart and found a f'd release bearing, the mount had deteriorated so the bearing was sitting alot further back, and this made sense as to what was going wrong.

Replaced the clutch fork and put it all back together, now the clutch is slipping like no bodies business!! and since it never ever slipped before it died we didn't touch any of the flywheel/pressure plate assembly.

Soooo, anyone have any ideas on what it could be? it looks like im going to have to take it all apart again [xx(]

Hmmm, shouldnt be a bent fork, its only doe 2k's (not 2000 either).

I just dont see why it (clutch/ pressure plate) wouldn't be stuffed before we took it apart and now it is!
