Talk to your local auto electrician, cant think of the companies name at the moment, who supply heater cores and there catalogue has dimensions and out let positions.
I got a copy of one a while ago when looking for a core with outlet's on the opposite side to normal when fitting the zetec in the MK2, but I cant find it.
Shannon may remember the company.

Hi Daz, The heater is a unit for a caravan with a ceramic element and fuse, 12v, i think with some minor mods it can go in easy enough..i'll be pulling it apart to fit .well thats my plan for the Anglia. Bought new off fleagay for $70 !!

Haven't ripped mine apart yet, but looks like the inside of a modern kettle with a fan near it...reckon it can be solved in a day to get up and running

Hey Marty.
I did quite a bit of looking up on this.
If you have a google around you'll find a few have done this sort of mod. With the wattage of the heater core being around 150 - 200 watts most people have said it is not up to the job.
Maybe test it out before putting to many hours into it!?
Anyway - just hought i would pass on my search results.
let's us know how it goes.

Yea i can understand some people want the interior like an oven for daily use..i should rig it up and see what its like, though i'm putting it in an Anglia(which has no heating at all) and most likely wont be driven on cold days. My Fiesta ST takes yonks to get the cabin warmed up[B)]ant its a newish car ....

The other thing to look into for price sakes is 12v hair dryers. then get 2 but i am unsure what this load is likely to do to the electrics. winter = cold, headlights and wipers. Might end up with a flat bat.
