Hi all again, asking all the Mk1 Capri guru's.
What type of side mirrors would have been originally fitted to a 1970 GT V6.
There seems to various types in all the original sales brochures ranging from very small to falcon GT types,  as well as full chrome mirrors.
Where they possibly dealer fitted and dependant on what type the dealer had.
Thanks in advance.

Bullet mirror's are the same either side, but hard to find in good nick, as they have plastic parts that break. Cheers O

These are the 1970 bullet mirrors, which is probably what you have:

They are pretty hard to find, especially without even the slightest damage. I've been looking for a long time to find a comparible aftermarket mirror, and these are the closest I've found so far (but still not entirely the same):

This is a side by side of an incomplete original mirror and a copy:

Here is a pic of my mirror, appears to be original.
Now just got to find another one.

Has anyone got a version of the above Capri mirror with a short pedestal ?
The mirror uses the same body, but the pedestal is about half the length.
Looks like those repro chrome bullet mirrors.
I am after the pedestal only (to rent or buy).
