Its a new one to me

Whats the lift?  Do you know what brand it is

spigot
Based on the given information I would say that;
the running clearance is  IN. 0.008 EX. 0.10,
Max lobe lift is IN. 275  EX. 275, which should be about .450 valve lift

You give **** all info you get **** all info!
You need to put a new post up asking for any ouija board readers!

Need to know the 050" timing figures and lobe centres or a grind number.

what more do you want to know? looks like you have the basic specs.

its kinda similar to the Kent FR32 cam.

Cant believe I missed the 0.275" lift bit

So you have about 0.44" of valve lift, and lobe centre of 110 degrees.

Its not on my database so very interested in who the manufacturer is.

Without knowing the lift figures that spigot asked for (not always supplied) is looks like your typical older ~ 1970's fast road grind.  Slightly higher lift than std, and lots more duration.  Similar to Crow 661 or Kent FR32 as mentioned above.  Peak power will be at about 6500 rpm... near the limit of a std bottom end.  More modern cams will go for higher lift and less duration and make similar power but at lower rpm.

its a clive cam, thanks anyway. Do you think this will run a turbo well?

Stick with std cam for turbo unless you are Really Really Serious

Cam, saw you other post about carbies and turbos, I agree with Avon.  You are going to create a whole load of headaches (and metal shrapnel) by building a turbo with carboy and hot cam.  Turbos aren't real forgiving and just a bit lean will chew out a piston in no time.

Go stock cam, efi turbo, LOW boost.  Get that running right and then start tweaking.
