Ok guys. Does the disy cap be on the car when attaching the leads. I checked them this morning and if 1 has to be at 3 o'clock wel it's not. So does this mean it is wrong. In wat order does the leads go on disy cap. Is it 1 at 3 o'clock and then others go anti clockwise around the disy or is there a special way. Thanks guy I appreciate all ur help.

I love my car but its becoming frastrating. I checked switch in boot.its fine. I changed leads on disy to 1-3-4-2. I looked for where leak in radiator was and no stain or marking. Tryed to start it and it stil won't start. Kicks over but not starting stil.

If as stated before it was running on aerostart or start ya **** then it has got to be either a problem either with the fuel pump or injectors and or the associated electrics.  Has the fuel pressure at the rail been checked?  Can you hear the fuel pump going for a second or two when you turn the ignition on?  Also if the switch in the boot is aftermarket which I assume it is then have you checked the wiring to that switch?  Try disconnecting the wires off the switch and connect them together to bypass the switch it may be faulty. Also I'm not sure what the story is with the distributors on the SA capri but if you take the cap off there should be a notch or mark showing the position of number one.  Make sure the lead that is in that position is connected to number one spark plug (the one closest to the front of the engine not the gearbox) and then it should be 1342 running anti clockwise
Good luck with it

Thanks nick I wil do that tmrw. Redo leads and check switch. The switch is in the manual that comes with car. So I did all ready know about it as I read the whole book. But I wil disconnect it and see how I go. If no different I am guessing to it might be injectors. Do u know where to purchase new ones for my car.
Cheers

You should be able to get new injectors from just about any auto shop but they will most likely have to order them in.
If I was you I would check to see if the injectors are being sent their pulse signal first, easiest way to do this is to buy a special tester which is just a light which plugs into the same plug the injectors plug into.  It will flash on and off if the injectors are being sent their pulse signal, if not you'll have to look a little deeper.

Hi. No one seem to be at 12 o'clock. I had an auto electrician out yesterday and he seem to think that the main lot if wiring has a problem and that it would create a problem with the ECU. He said it $250 to get ECU checked. Wat a joke. And he took my wiring to check it when I have no money to pay him. He left my car in pieces and I am so cranky. I hav asked for wiring to be returned as no point lookin at it as car with hav to sit for at least 12 months as I hav to save up. And he said when he is in my area next. Wat a joke. I might be a women but I not dumb. Cheers for u help. I am lost and can do any more.
Thanks
