Hi All,
When out on track days I have a problem of fuel coming out the filler cap on lh turns.
Not enough for a black flag... but its noticable on the paint on the rear guard after each event.
I have tried replacing the fuel filler cap, had another one 'rebuilt' by a supplier to get more closing pressure and also covered over the keyhole as well.. but none of that worked

Does anyone have a fix or ideas on this ?? eg one way valve in the filler??

This could be too obvious but Im thinking that you start the track day with a full tank of fuel (as I would). Why not start with half tank and take a jerry can with some more?

The only suggestion i have is maybe go towards a semi race deal http://racecarparts.com.au/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=39_302_321 .
There maybe a cheaper easier way but by the sound of it and what you have done already a screw type may be the option for you?

Hi Ron - i start with about 15-20ltr's in the tank and put in about 10 litres twice during the day, so i never go over 1/2 full.  I think the main problem is at turn 2 at Mallala..

Mickos - thanks for the suggestion, I will check that out.
