Does anyone know if the little push on clip thingo on a mk1 boot lock is a standard Ford part, or can I just get something similar from the hardware shop?
Its the one arrowed in the pic below. Mine has gone missing and the boot lock is being a bit temperamental now and not opening sometimes.

Have a look at some wreckers, pull one off an flatten it out. Should be able to get it for dirt cheap, that's if there is any escorts in the wreckers near you, an pretty sure there the same as a mk2 as mine looks identical.
