Okay! Set the timing to 12deg. And I also found a really good site on the net that explains how to tune a 32/36. So I retuned my carby (didnt really want to because I had to get tas to tune it last time because after a rebuilt it I didn't know anything about the dgvs and didnt know what to do)

But! I gave it ago and got it pretty spot on and probably even better then before, and while I was at it I found a small hole in the carby where the choke was that never had been blocked off (the carb came without a choke as the choke housing has a screw stuck in there and the head ripped off).

I always thought there was a leak cause when I revved it in neutral it didnt rev straight down it had a spot that stayed for a bit. So I plugged that up an it is all good now.

It also had a bit of a flat spot at about 1500rpm but that Is now gone :)

I Had it dynod a while back when it was auto and had the full standard exhaust, and didn't have the tune it has now, it made 43.1hp at the wheels :D so with the manual in and the tune and full exhaust system hopefully will have a few more hp now. Definatly going to Dyno it ASAP.

Thanks again for the help guy, much appreciated.

Well done mate, good to hear you getting it sorted.
I enjoy learning new stuff too, the moment the light turns in the head on how the thing is supposed to go is classic.

Thanks mate. And yeh I agree.

I had no clue as to how a timing light worked, untill I thought long and hard and it came to me that I flashes like a strobe light and you can see the mark and what not. Haha.

Thanks again.
