Great work Terry and Ron and you other "Gurus" who impress me with your penchant for details, and dedication and love for Capris.
As I mentioned years ago, I purchased my GT V6 Capri not even knowing its unique 1 in 11 Heritage (strange the seller never mentioned it once?) to flip it for a profit, but fell in love that fateful night driving "Stephanie" back from Ballarat to the Mornington Peninsula after being in storage for 25 years. She ran so well she just "blew me away" that night nearly a decade ago ! Amazing considering it wasnt tuned or serviced for many years.
I've since been offered ridiculously high money on more than 10 occasions since bringing her home, but no.
Like so many Classics from the 60's and 70's , this Capri is amongst my stable of other Classics where not even one has failed me or gave cause for regret.
A huge shame the same cannot be said for the majority of post 1990 mass produced cars. It will be a very cold day in hell before I purchase a modern new vehicle unless it has the breeding and longevity of a reliable Toyota.
Unfortunately, it's not in the manufacturers interest for cars to last "forever" like our Classics.
