Hi Guys
as I've never had much to do with this car, I was wondering what anyone thinks of this MONETARY WORTH of a Ford TX3 AWD (KF Laser) 1.8 DOHC Turbo with Full Cams Regio and never having been crashed.  Engine fully rebuilt only 100 kms ago. Transfer Case rebuilt less than 1000kms ago.  4 NEW SEMI SLICKS just fitted before one circuit of Phillip island Race Track.  Have test driven and all facets function well. Turbo Boost set on 12 pounds (from the 8 set at factory). No rust and no fatigued/worn steering or suspension. I give the Body 9/10. The Interior and Trim 9/10. Comes with genuine RWC and is still road registrable.(if we ignore the semi-slicks!). Also has Alarm/Immobilizer. Full Race 4 point Harness in Drivers Racing seat. Half Rollover cage. All Cams approved. No radio. No Air Con. No Pow Steer. Electric Mirrors.
My only criticism (after being spoilt with the power of my D Port V6 Capri) is that it didnt "pull" or excite me like my Capri.
I know the TX3 is only 1.8 litres, but it is EFI and Turboed !

Hard to say, they're not that common anymore. 
I'd be thinking easy $5k upwards based on what you've said. Sounds like lots has been spent.
 
Always cheaper to buy someone elses race car if its been built well.
 
Semi slicks may be legal. I run road legal semis on one of my cars.

they are not a real powerful car even being turbo. 117kw from factory...
the gearboxs in those are a real weak point. i know someone with one and he has had many problems with the box after he started increasing power. so good the transfer case has been done already. thats half the problem.
 
i would have thought closer to 6-7K price wise seeing as the ****ty stock ones go for about 3-4, like scort said though, depends if it is done well. seems like someone has thrown a bit of coin at it.

I have to say I'm a little surprised at the power figures- we had one of these running at the local drags and it was pulling 11's, mind you I don't know what mods it had done to it, from the outside it looked just like standard TX3.
