Has anyone used any of the Dustless Blasting Companies to completely strip paintwork down to bare metal for a complete car.
They seem a really easy way to strip paint/rust/bog - everything goes
The company I contacted  is a mobile service so they come to you - quoted $950 including door jams/engine bay etc

What are they using, CO2 (dry ice)?

Yes that is exactly what they use - equipment comes from USA
Makes the car paint stripping look like you are just easily washing the paint off the car in about an hour

Would be concerned about the water causing rust (he says it vapourises but you can clearly see it doesn't).  It mentions it will take off filler but I assume it won't touch rust?  A good concept and I wouldn't mind giving it a go on the next car.

I would cause some rust afterwards but not even what you would call surface rust. I would think get it blasted and dry it off then a light sand prep and paint. With the speed it removes the paint I'll bet my middle finger that it would remove rust. Also if it will scratch the glass then rust is softer than that. I still like my sand blaster though as I use it to clean the insides of what I'm fixing which this will never be appropriate for.
