Wow! So clean Ron. The Supers seem to have survived much better than the other Mk1 models. This is a real gem. Pinto conversion looks amazing. Is that a new old stock air cleaner?

Can't say I remember seeing a black one before - do I need to get out from under my rock, or were these fitted to Cortina's?

Thanks for the positive comments, guys.
The safety inspection is being done, bloke also does mod plates but says it doesnt need one.
The air cleaner was blue but i didnt like how it looked with the burgundy so i blacked it.
I spent some time working out where to route hoses and cables and wiring so it looked good and factory as possible. Its still missing the charcoal canister and return to tank, and the decel valve only looks like it might work, and the hot cold setup on the aircleaner is missing, so it will be interesting to see what the safety cert. guy makes of it.

Sounds like just about every other Pinto still in use then.

QLD safety certificate now obtained. Inspector not interested in anti pollution equipment. It turns out i did need a mod plate for the engine and brake swap. So now to fill in rego forms and club permit and then Im on the road again.
So looking forward to driving an esky again.
