Have been given a contact for a guy who wants to sell his mark 2. The car is located in Rockhampton in
central Qld. This is an unfinished project- in fact a "barely started project ". It is a 2lt 4 sp and is complete except for front windscreen which is broken and has been binned. The remaining glass has been taken out along with the door cards as part of the rust inspection process but other than that the car is complete. It appears car is rust free except for some in the heater plenum.
The car has been in dry storage for 7 years under the house and the guy wants to sell it as he is getting a new house built and he will have no room for it. I believe it has ghia trim and is fitted with some nice mags and tyres. Engine and gearbox in running condition , so far as known. Engine may have had some work done as it is fitted with a redline manifold for twin 32/36 webers. The owner is looking for offers around $1500, which seems a good deal to me, though transport costs could be a problem, depending on where you live!!
