Bent my door handle and don't have a key for the spare handle.

Any body know how to change the lock barrel between door handles?

Not sure if you still need help on this but I went through this process quite a while ago and took step by step photos as I had no idea what I was doing . In the end it was a pretty straight forward process.
 
Step 1: Remove the pin holding the back end of the lock mechanism in place. You can use a small drift punch if you have one.

 
Step 2: Remove locking washer. A small screw driver is the best bet


 
Step 3: Remove retaining spring with a pair of long nosed pliers.
 

 
Step 4: Lock barrel can now be removed from the door handle by pushing on the back end of the lock barrel.

Using this process remove the original barrel from the bent door handle and install it into the replacement handle. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. wasn't sure that was a pin as it didn't seem to want to move. Had shelved the idea for now and dropped in the spare to get me going.
