Hi guys
 
when you search eaby for radiators lots of chepish alloy ones pop up, as mine is damaged and needs either re-coring or a totally new one i thought id see if anyone has ahd any luck with these ones? should i avoid at all costs?

I was looking at similar but then didn't want to take the risk.. my situation with modern motor, smaller escort cooling capability I just went with one from GRP4 and shipped it over. Cost a bit more but the quality is excellent.
They come in "safari" spec too which is ideal for over here in Aus. Cost was about $450Au + shipping with current exchange rates. I bundled it with a heap of other stuff as well. Without the safari spec its a tad cheaper too.


I can give you a look at mine when i get the chance to come down and get the rear shock section (if you still have it haha).

I bought the cheapest possible alloy radiator off Ebay for my 180sx. I have had no problem with it at all. Get's thrashed a lot more then any Escort so I'd guess a cheap alloy radiator for a Escort should be fine.
