I have recently purchased a '62 Fairlane that has a 289 engine in it.  I must admit that I have never owned a Ford and I need to know what steps do I take to learn what year and etc this engine is?  I'm physically limited but I can use my digital camera to get some numbers once I know where to look.  Of course the intake is easy to see and read but that's about all.
