I am a devotee of forced induction. I have a racing sports car which is powered by a Nissan 2Ltr Turbo and a Volvo Turbo tow car.
Another toy is a 1.8 Zetec I bought many moons ago for our +2 Elan.
Poor thing has been sitting around waiting to be completed. The original idea was a flowed head with wasted o/s valves on 45 mm Carbs but now I am open for ideas.
I know the head is good with flow figures inexcess of 200hp.
But I still hanker for a nice wee puffer hanging off the side of the block.
What I am looking for is somone who has actually build a blown Zetec.
Should that person exist i would like to talk to you.

I was going to 'charge my 2.0 Zetec and got the supercharger to go but gave up and settled with R1 bike carbs instead!!
Lots of Focus's or Foci in USA are either supercharged or more commonly turbo'd with good results (well over 300bhp)on stock bottom end has been done...bit of a worry !!!

Have a look on USA ebay for turbo manifolds. I recently bought one for my duratec. I assume one for the zetec will also be offered.

I've got an Eaton M90 sitting in my shed ready to hang off the side of my zetec. Haven't got far with it yet though so am watching this thread with interest
