Standard cosworth bottom end. Pistons, rods, crank, sump, pump and oil squirters. Will upgrade rods and pistons on next build. Block is virgin bore 205. Have yet to work out comp ratio as head has had a little off it but not much. Cam choice is holding me up at the moment. Mapping those I have for lift and duration. Not much out there for turbo pintos. If I'd have gone the cossie head it would've almost worked out the same price.....

I'm using a .63 rear housing.  Not really sure when it will spool up.  Depends on who you listen to.... I'll suck it and see.
If lag is too much of an issue, I can always swap back to to cosworth t03 that I have (.48 housing), or just drop down a gear....

I'm quite familiar with the Skogen racing site, having spent many hours reading through it with google translate (although for some reason I cant seem to register)  They all seem to run bigger turbos than what people recommend here, and get good results?? love some of the outside the box thinking...

BTW, fitted up the new rims today, 17 x 8.5 :)

I'm sure people wont believe me, but thet fit under the standard guards!!
Will need a little work once I drop it a few more inchs though and possible run some larger rubber as I'm running somewhat stretched 205/40's.  It's all in the offset.  Will get some pics up soon.

New wheels......
Were on ebay for a price I couldn't refuse. 17x 8.5JJ

Besides, I always liked the look of IMB05S

They will need a little more work to clear the inner skins on the guards but so far it looks promising.
Fronts will need a 15mm spacer to clear the current struts however I have a couple of different hubs to try first.
This is with - 3" from standard.

How's the room under the back for the 8.5's ? i had some 15x8.5's sitting under mine (mk2) and there seems to be room even though people say its impossible, also 8.5 all round?

Yes, 8.5's all round. Clearance is very tight on the outer side, have guard lips rolled but realistically will need to modify the inner skins. Still a fair bit of room on yhe chassis side. The other option is to have the mounting face of the rims machined however I'd like to keep the front and rear the same.

like all escorts, the diff is off centre.....

Have been trying to get a little done here and there, however with the heat and being knackered from work, it's often hard to drag myself outside and knuckle down.

Have now got the brakes sorted,

Rear - Audi discs with R31 calipers using Pauls kit. (Thanks paul, definately one of the most professional, easy to follow kits I've used)
Front - 300mm discs with 300zx aluminum calipers.

Converted the front struts to coilovers using a variety of mismatched parts on a tight budget.
Ended up with adjustable Rx7 insets, 225lb coils and made my own strut tops from aluminium.

Have now sourced a 24mm adjustable front bar which will almost complete the front end.
Just thinking of some extentions to lowered the rack ends to sort bump steer.

Anyway here are some pics of the stance, not sure if the wheels are to everyones taste but I've always liked the retro look.

Rear

Front

Stance

All I need to do now is either souce or build a Watts link kit for the rear and I'm sorted....
