Wanted v6+gearbox.  I have a capri in the shed which we have owned for 25 years and has been in storage for 15 years.  Whilst the current motor (1600, side draft webber/extractors) is in good condition, the car generally needs an overhaul.  The missus an i have concluded that if we start, we need to do it properly and build a sunday best.  Unfortunately, i don't see the 1600 making the cut.   Whilst a fast road v6 would maintain a classic outcome,  I am also looking at the option of a XR6 turbo conversion.  Has anyone completed such?
