I did an oil change on the weekend so went in search of a Ryco Z38
Supercheap - no stock
Repco in stock - $42
Auto Pro in stock - $29

Big difference in price for the same thing.

Ryco used to claim they did not have the return valve, but Coopers and Fram Z9 do.  As Owen says use a Z9 i have been doing so for 20 years.  Also fill your V6 with Penrite 30 the engine loves it and there are no additives, the old GTX etc can cause the oil rings to stick

Thanks for the tips.  Am still on Penrite running in oil at the moment but will go with your advice when its time for the next change.

For 40 years, I have only used Ford Oil Filters on my V6s for the street and on the track.  Top filter, same physical size and should pay no more than $20.
