im chasing a set of stock steel 14inch rims for a escort mrk2 could eny one steer me in the right derection as to from what kind of car will fit ,

yeah i no what cars are the same pcd but i cant get eny that are the right offset , the only reason i want them is to chuck some 14 inch moon disks i have in the shed and dont want to spend millions od dollars getting wheel offset changed , because i may go all 5 stud in the future

Try Peugeot 405 stock rims.  The offset is not quite the same as Escort Mk2, but close enough and it fits on the front struts without spacers.  Tyre size for 14" is a bit of an issue though.  I use 14" on the autocross car with rally tires and they work very well, but the gear ratio is effected by the bigger overall diameter.  I also think that Pug306 also work, and some SAAB also, but their offset is quite narrow when on an Escort Mk2....  Cortina TF S Pak came with 14" factory mags, but these like all TC-TF Cortina Rims are teh wrong offset fr an Escort and will not fit on the front without spacers...No Escort had 14" rims from Factory.. (12" for early Mk1 and 13" for all other Mk1 and Mk2)
 
(My Escorts all run on 13", 14" and 15" rims to suit the particular needs / sizes regs etc - My suggestion is to stick with 13" or 15" for ease of tyre fitment / right sizing etc)

its ok i decided to buy some 15x7 fake bathurst globes for it instead

For the record 4 cylinder Chrysler Centura also fit and are a good offset on a MK1 or 2.
