I just started putting the van back together and realised i have lost one of the rear door latches,
its the bit that the rod on the rear door sits in to keep the door shut, i have one and i also have a really bad pic but i need another for the roof of the car.

they would be hard to get--- you may be able to make one ---there must be some stuf on the market these days that one can cut grind to shap----

tell me bout it thats why im hoping someone has one on a van they are just using for parts, 
 
it was one of those things i said when i took it off "best put this somewhere safe"
 
 

anyone got an old van that is being wrecked or know of one that may have this part?

I recently wrecked out a van and I did actually pull all the rear lock and latch mechanism out of the rear doors.
 
Let me have a look in the shed, I should have what you are chasing. It will be Tuesday before I get back out there.
