GTV6,
I wasn't aware that you'd had issues with Kevin, so I'm sorry to hear that. I too have been ripped off by someone saying that the Capri I bought was a GT (when it wasn't). That is one of the reasons why I am so committed to finding out as much as I can about the cars so people can tell what they have, or know what they're buying.
I've also been the victim of fire some years ago. The little **** next door decided to play with matches in the dry bushes outside the shed of the house we were renting. Long story short, no-one was interested in helping - not the police, insurance company, the little ****'s parents, no-one. I lost all my Capri parts for the car I was rebuilding (the same car I thought was a GT), and various other items which I found out weren't covered in my contents policy. That's why I had to essentially start all over again buying parts, and getting them fixed up. I even spent 8 months trying to convince the stupid real estate agent that the shed hadn't been rebuilt and was still a burnt out shell at the end of the driveway!
I felt sorry for Kevin, so I thought I'd post something on a few forums to try and help a bit. I'm also bringing forward an order for some of his bits to help with his cashflow. If he ripped you off though, that's not cool.
Cheers
Jamie
