Hi all - again.
So i go to fit the clutch cable tonight and the high capacity alloy sump is in the way.
They have drilled a hole to the side for it but...
A) it isn't aligned.
and most important..
B) because it is now in the sump and not on the bell housing it is nearly an inch short.
Any one else overcome this problem??

Thanks.

Do you have an RS alloy sump (ie. European RS2000 sump)? From memory the sump has a flange at the back which lines up with the RS alloy bellhousing (ie. they are designed to be used together), and the cable is routed through a plastic sleeve which mounts on the flange. However it sounds like you may have something else, which may require something to be fabricated. Do you have any pictures?
Cheers
Justin

Thanks Justin
I emailed Burton and of course this sump fits up to a UK rs2000 bell housing.
I never new there was a difference.
:-(
So it seem the motor has to come back out, sump off and modify. *^#^@)&%)@&%)@(%!!!!!!
Stupid sump.
Wish i never bought it!
