I am rebuilding a MKII diff and need some help on bolt sizes.
 
1.   I need to know what size bolts are used to bolt the axle shafts into the diff housing.  M12x1.5 I think!
2.   What size nuts are used to fix the diff head into the diff housing

Axle shafts into the diff housing - aren't they 5/16 UNF?

Drum brakes to english axle Mk1: 7/16 UNF.
Drum brakes to english axle Mk2: M12x1.5.

I am assuming the nuts to hold in the diff are M12 too.
