i have purchased some new window glass for my van (wind up glass) same as mk1 2 door, this cost me more than im sure some of you have bout whole escorts for.
on taking out the old glass i noticed it wouldn't as easy to fit the new stuff as i expected, and before i get heavy handed on it i thought id ask if anyone has some hints or tips on here so i can do the job without damaging anything.
here is some pics of what holds the glass to the runners, my gregorys manual doesn't go into enough detail to help on this issue

and getting the new windows in?

Do you mean the runner on the new glass? Sikaflex. Or if the rubbers in tact soapy water and tap it back on....
