Hey Drewdog. Yeah the shell was pretty solid. C pillars took a bit of cleaning up and Carl has welded in some drain pipes so that water collecting in that area drains though and doesn't sit and collect. Few other bits and pieces but all the panels are original.

Yeah Robbie the calipers come with a blank lug. Got the holes drilled/tapped and some excess material removed to suit.

Hi Lee,
Very nice job.  Reverse build thread are fun, aren't they? The build thread on my RS was done the same, started just before I finished the car.  Makes you realise that one could have take a lot more photos to record it all when comes to the time to show how everything was done!  By the way who supplied the loom, how close was it to the Oz version, considering that some parts of the engine bay are reversed, a mirror image?
Cheers,
Len

When it comes to having plenty of photos, that is not a problem. I have 800+ starting from the beginning all the way through. So just wading through them to pick out the good ones...

As for the loom, well that was a bit of a saga. Done by Richard from Rapid Fit Looms in the UK. Just clicked on the webpage and it didnt go through so he might not be in business anymore. The product itself is pretty good. He made a couple of mistakes but but nothing dramatic. Location wise, 95% good. Obviously some differences but was easy to modify to suit. The biggest problem was the connection from his loom to the indicator/wiper stalks. The ford plugs are no longer available so he explained to me people normally send over their plugs and he patches them into the new loom. No problem. Except he didnt tell me at the start. I only found the problem when I went to install. Then when I sent him my plugs, never got them back. I lost count the amount of times he told me they were in the mail. In the end, someone on here was kind enough to sell me the plugs that i now didnt have and I patched them in myself. It was a shame again the product was decent, pricing, not too bad but he was just a pain to deal with. Worst transaction I had for the entire car....

while i remember, anyone doing an EFI conversion, I can highly recommend the aeromotive phantom stealth 340. Will post some photos of it but the one pump did away with the need for a swirl pot, extra lines, fittings and mounted directly into the mk2 drop tank. also means nothing gets mounted in the boot. Was a good find and has so far proved very reliable....

That fuel set up is an awesome solution, i believe paul dunstan is doing something like that with some oem parts.

I know all about Pauls OEM fuel solution. We have been in regular talks for quite awhile now as we have very similar builds. Huge help to see how some bits go back together, share problems, what works etc. I am also running one of his bias pedal box assemblies and rear disc conversion kits. Both are working brilliantly.
